Arki System architecture
Arki System is the system designed to increase the safety of tunnels through the remote control of the escape routes lighting.
Panel control modules
Arki System is composed by a control and command center consisting of modules installed in the section / yard panels and peripheral modules installed near the lights and emergency buttons. The control unit installed in the panel receives anomalies and faults from peripheral modules and in turn sends all alarms and events to a supervision software via RS485 connection with PLC. The transmission of all signals takes place by PLC tecnology on the power line of the reference lamps.
Lamp remote control modules
The peripheral modules control the operating status of the safety lamps (escape route lighting, reference, LED lights for locating the emergency buttons) and send anomaly or fault signals to the control unit. The peripheral modules, in addition to performing the functions described above, transmit the alarm signals of the emergency buttons to the control unit and power the respective LED reference lights.
The advantages
- System monitoring and fault detection in "real time";
- Increased tunnel safety standards;
- Maintenance savings through scheduled periodic tests on the efficiency of escape route lighting lamps;
- High degree of insulation against tension coming from the lamp line;
- Significant reduction in wiring for the construction of the system.
